Coconut Sugar - Organic

This product is made with organic coconut sugar from Indonesia. This sugar is considered healthier than regular sugar because it is a lower GI option. Coconut sugar is naturally golden, has a crystalline texture, smells like sweet coconut, and tastes a bit like light toffee. Organic coconut sugar tastes great in baked items and beverages alike. Made from the sweet sap of the coconut palm tree. Not to be confused with palm sugar, which comes from a different tree entirely.

How to use: This sugar can be used in place of white sugar in many recipes, like curries and hotpots, marinades and sticky sauces, raw treats, and baked goods, especially muffins, cookies, and fruit cakes. You can use coconut sugar instead of regular sugar in any sweet dish. All you have to do is use the same amount of coconut sugar as a replacement for white sugar.
