WHERE DO YOU DELIVER
Gram Sustainable delivers online orders through third party delivery partners.
We provide all domestic delivery to urban, regional as well as remote areas, through a great network in Australia which spans coast to coast.
However, drivers can’t pick up from or deliver to places like:
- Auction houses
- Malls or shopping centres
- Furniture and retail stores
- Hospitals Military bases Airports
- PO boxes
That’s because getting into these places can be tricky or prohibited altogether without access to a docking bay (something that’s often required at these types of locations).
HOW MUCH IS DELIVERY
Delivery charges are based on the weight of your order. These are calculated at checkout.
HOW AND WHEN WILL MY ITEMS BE DELIVERED
We start processing orders quickly after they are placed, so any cancellation or changes to the order should be requested as soon as possible. All the orders placed by customers are automatically processed, and the processing incurs in costs that can’t be reversed. So only the cancellation requests that we receive immediately after the order was placed, have a chance to get accepted.
Gram Sustainable delivers online orders through third party delivery partners, and therefore some delivery aspects are not in our control. Once we hand over your order to our delivery partner, we can’t confirm the exact delivery time. However, we work closely with our delivery partners and customers to help track your order if there is an issue with the delivery.
If the customer hasn’t provided special delivery instructions, the package will be left at the doorstep or a safe place near your front door in case no one is at home to receive it. Once the product has been delivered to your location, Gram Sustainable is not responsible for loss or damages to your order.
WHAT IF I'M NOT HOME WHEN MY DELIVERY COMES
If you haven't provided special delivery instructions, the package will be left at the doorstep or a safe place near your front door in case no one is at home to receive it. Once the product has been delivered to your location, Gram Sustainable is not responsible for loss or damages to the order.
You also have an option to make a note in the delivery instructions if you want to sign to confirm that you have received the delivery of the order. When such delivery instructions are provided, we make sure the delivery personnel stays at your door until you sign to confirm the delivery. However, if no one is present at the delivery address to sign for the order when this service has been requested we don’t take responsibility for damage or loss of items when the order is returned to the courier depot.
HOW DOES CLICK AND COLLECT WORK
We offer a handy Click & Collect service from our Fitzroy and Elwood Stores.
Just add all of your Gram favourites to your cart and select the "Pickup in Store" option at checkout.
There is no fee for pickup orders preparation.
HOW WILL MY ITEMS BE PACKAGED
Gram Sustainable is an environmentally conscious company, which means we don’t sell our products in conventional packaging.
Products we sell online through our website are shipped in biodegradable paper bags, and these bags are lined with plant based film derived from plant starch.
We don’t use plastic tape or glue to seal our product packaging. In addition, you can reuse our product packaging for various applications before you have to compost them.
At Gram Sustainable, we minimise the use of plastics and try to avoid creating unnecessary waste. However, when we are shipping products over long distances, we use compostable cardboard bubble wrap to keep them safe.
We use glass bottles for personal care and cleaning products. Other liquid products such as oils, and cooking ingredients are sold in glass containers. Refillable pouches are used in some circumstances.
If you proceed to order from Gram Sustainable, you agree to our product packaging practices. Our team is always looking for new ways to reduce packaging waste and improve the protection for products we sell.
WHAT IF SOMETHING I'VE ORDERED IS OUT OF STOCK
Gram Sustainable strives to display the correct stock of products on our website. However, there may be delays at the supplier’s end that can cause some products to be unavailable at some times.
If you purchase a product from our website, and it is not available in our stock, we will send an email notification to inform you that the product is out of stock. In addition, we will give you the options to get a refund for the out-of-stock product or replace it with another product.
In case you notice a product is out of stock when shopping at our physical store, please inform a team member at the store to know when the product is expected to be back in stock.
We strive to maintain the stock of products we offer, and we apologise for any inconvenience cause by a product being out of stock.
