Our Quick Oats are proudly grown in Australia - pesticide & preservative free. Our quick oats are harvested seasonally, and then lightly steamed and rolled.
The great thing about quick oats is they're quick! You can have a warm porridge ready in minutes. They're perfect for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Their versatility makes them very handy for desserts, both baked and raw.
How to use:
In order to prepare a quick, but delicious porridge, boil one cup of these oats with two cups of milk - either a half-and-half mixture of water and milk, or just milk. Depending upon your taste, sprinkle some Pink Himalayan Salt and a little honey, maple syrup, or coconut nectar on top. Serve warm, topped with chopped nuts and dried fruit, after cooking on low to medium heat for 2-3 minutes.
Smoothies and homemade muesli can be made with organic quick oats. In addition to bread, quick oats are excellent for muffins and biscuits due to their softer texture.
You can also use quick oats to make fresh Oat Mylk. To make - soak your oats in cold water (1:6) with a pinch of salt (and coconut if you like), for 6 hours or overnight. Mix until smooth with honey or coconut nectar to taste. Strain through a clean cloth, squeezing the oats, and refrigerate in an airtight container.
