Recipe – Classic Pizza Dough
Ingredients:
• 3 1/2 cups Strong Bakers Flour
• 1 tsp sugar
• 1 packet (7g) active dry yeast
• 1 1/4 cups warm water
• 2 tbsp olive oil
• 1 tsp salt
Method:
1. In a small bowl, dissolve sugar and yeast in warm water. Let sit for 5 minutes until foamy.
2. In a large bowl, combine Strong Bakers Flour and salt. Add the yeast mixture and olive oil, then mix until a dough forms.
3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
4. Place the dough in an oiled bowl, cover, and let rise for 1-2 hours until doubled in size.
5. Preheat your oven to 220°C (200°C fan-forced).
6. Roll out the dough to your desired thickness, top with your favorite toppings, and bake for 10-12 minutes until golden and crispy.
