Tamari Roasted Pepitas
Ingredients:
1 cup organic pepitas
1 tablespoon tamari sauce
1 teaspoon olive oil
A pinch of chilli flakes (optional)
1 teaspoon honey (optional)
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 160°C (320°F).
2. In a mixing bowl, combine the pepitas, tamari sauce, olive oil, and chilli flakes. If adding honey, mix it in as well.
3. Spread the pepitas evenly on a lined baking tray.
4. Roast in the oven for 10–15 minutes, stirring halfway through, until they are lightly golden and crispy.
5. Allow to cool and enjoy as a snack or sprinkle over salads, soups, or roasted vegetables.
